Dye Sublimation Printing

Dye-sub printing is a digital printing technology using full color artwork that works with polyester. Also referred to as digital sublimation, the process is commonly used for decorating apparel, signs and banners, as well as novelty items such as mobile phone covers, plaques, coffee mugs, and other items with sublimation-friendly surfaces.
In sublimation printing, unique sublimation dyes are transferred to sheets of “transfer” paper via liquid gel ink through a piezoelectric print head. The ink is deposited on these high-release inkjet papers, which are used for the next step of the sublimation printing process. After the digital design is printed onto sublimation transfer sheets, it is placed on a heat press along with the substrate to be sublimated.

In order to transfer the image from the paper to the substrate, it requires a heat press process that is a combination of time, temperature and pressure. The temperature range is 380 to 420 degrees Fahrenheit, which is normally recommended for optimal color.

Because the dyes are infused into the substrate at the molecular level, rather than applied at a topical level (such as with screen printing and direct to garment printing), the prints will not crack, fade or peel from the substrate under normal conditions.
Direct-to-film printing (DTF)
This process of printing on textiles. The process involves the direct transfer of a design by first printing it on a special film and then using a heat press to transfer the design to a garment.

In contrast to Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing, in which designs are printed directly onto the garments, DTF employs a two-step process. The fist step in the Direct-to-film (DTF) printing method involves initially printing the design onto a PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) film and then applying an adhesive powder to the printed film. In the second step, the design from the printed DTF film is then transferred to the garment using a heat press.

DTF films can be prepared using specialized printers, referred to as DTF printers. DTF printing is used for different fabric materials, including polyester, denim, cotton, leather and nylon.

This printing method is used on textiles including apparel such as T-shirts, jeans, jackets, hoodies, sportswear, and accessories like bags and belts. DTF is favored for its cost-effectiveness and capability to produce high-resolution prints. Specifically, for small batch printing, Direct to Film (DTF) printing is cost-effective.
Permanent & Removable Vinyl

What is Permanent Vinyl? The adhesive contained on the permanent vinyl is stronger. It is a long-lasting vinyl. Although you can remove the vinyl, it usually leaves a sticky residue that is difficult to remove, and it can also cause paint to peel off from cars or walls. What is Removable Vinyl?Removable vinyl can be easily peeled off without leaving any sticky marks on the outside. It will not damage the paint on the walls or objects, nor will it leave residues on the glass.
Heat transfer vinyl (HTV)
HTV is a speciality polyurethane with a heat-activated adhesive (typically polyester-based) that can be used on certain fabrics and materials to apply designs to promotional products, textiles and apparel, such as T-shirts.
